Cars!

Yes, I saw cars!! Before I saw the movie I heard some stuff about cars not being what it was predicted to be, or how it wasn't up to pixar's normal standard, or that the story wasn't that great. Well, I can finally be a critic myself since I am now an eye witness...it is definitely up to Pixars normal standards and the story is perfectly fine. The best thing about it though is the animation. It's spectacular! Everything is crystal clear and brilliant. Pixar keeps upping themselves and passing their own levels everytime they come out with a new movie. It is just amazing how far they have come since a bug's life. Cars was definitely worth my 8.50$. It had everybody cracking up by the end of it. So, I would definitely recommend it, but really, who needs my recommendation. Pixar seems to have proven themselves quite well. They are (of course) smashing the box office yet again! I have yet to see a bad Pixar movie...and hopefully...never will...

you spend $6.50 to see a movie!!! the matinee around here is $5.50, and that's the new one!!!
I saw United 93 last Thursday. If you've ever wanted to know what was in the minds of those in charge of air traffic control and such on September 11th, that movie will tell yea. I thought it was pretty cool. It was also very Politically Incorrect, which I love.

I mean, you pay $8.50

speaking of cars, what one do you have? I'll probably end up with a Cavalier, or a Buick er, something uncool (hehe).

Heylo, my bro saw that movie too and said it was: wonderful, cool, better then Over the Hedge...WAY better. I guess I should see it then. But pay 8 bucks and 50 cents?!?! I only go to theatres like that when I'm not the one paying for it. I'll wait till it gets in the $1. Good thing you liked it that much and that it was worth your money :o).

Well, well, welll, you never cease to surprise me! You actually said something that made an ounce of sense.
Just reminding you that no matter how long I am gone, I will always be back, which is more than I can say for a few of my (ahem) friends.
I would say "Good day." but I really don't wish one for any of you.
So, a rotten time to the lot of you.
The Phantom of the Kitchen.

Dear Phantom of the Kitchen, what makes you so hostile?

Also, please don't make fun of Andrew. He's awesome, and if you knew him enough, you'd know it too. He's also the smartest guy under 18 I know.

My Dear Madame Christina,
It is impossible for you to understand why I am the way I am. Life treats people differently and some of us got the short end of the stick. If had seen what I have seen, or gone through what I have gone through, you would be hostile too.
As to the second part of your comment, I am afraid you must have a small experience in the said group of people.
As always,
The Phantom of the Kitchen.

I've not seen it and I'm not planning to see it. Nothing against the movie; I simply don't have much time for movies in general.

Well, Andrew, you won't be reading this comment for at least three more days, what with your being gone at camp and everything, but I agree with you that Cars was a very well-made movie with a very ingenious twist on an old story. For those of you who haven't seen it yet: you should see it. Believe me, I should know. After all, I am a car myself, in a manner of speaking. I will myself be leaving shortly for camp, but, as Arnold Schwarzenegger said so many times, and I now repeat with reasonable assurance,

"I"ll be back!"

in a few weeks.

Your well-meaning friend,

The Archduke of the Keyboard

As to your latest comment, Christina Riepe, aka Darth Vader (as far as the picture goes),
I concur with you that Andrew is a smart young man. But he may not be the smartest under 18 you ever knew if you had known Nathaniel Pockras before he left his home in Belle Center, Ohio for college. As to the rest of your words, sarcastic hostility from an unknown someone is one of the best ways to get people enthralled on something. Aren't you interested in these comments that keep getting posted? And remember that famous phrase, so often quoted: "you may not know ME, but I always know YOU." I may not know you, but I do know Andrew and have known him for some time now. He calls himself the King of the Keyboard; that's why I call myself the Archduke.

With no hostility intended,

The Archduke of the Keyboard

Dear Andrew,
As you stumble home tired and distraught late this the twenty-third night of June, I post my farewell to you and to everyone else. As I said before, I will be gone for four weeks, so I trust you and my brother to take up the gauntlet of posting during my absence. So for now, in what will be reality this Sunday, I'm off to Warsaw! See you all later. I might be able to comment while I'm at camp, so stay tuned!

Did you know that Chicago has more Polish people than Warsaw, Poland?
