I just so happened to be in a mock debate about...you guessed it...PIRATES! The resolution...that the united states should enact a national monument to pirates. So Jack Sparrow, of course, just so happened to enter the argument...so tell me what you think of him. A hero, and good man...or a glamorized, hollwoodized, drunk pirate...

I think I am already far enough away... although, at the rate he destroyed things with the technology given him...
I don't know what I'd do if he were president, but I know I wouldn't move to France. He's pretty cool, but no one would ever go to jail for any crimes committed b/c "rules are more like guidelines" anyway...that wouldn't be such a great consequence. But I wonder how good he'd be at helping us win the war on terror. An old-school pirate versus radical Muslims--it just might work!
really, we were doing whatever we possibly could. Lol, did you notice that Mallory came up with the resolution and then Mallory was on negative? Lol, besides that, really Aaron M. and I were the only one's who did anything... I wrote the 1A and then Breanna gave it... Too slow, I figured she would, but it was bad... Basically after the first speech it was over because no one understood our plan, plus she got my first draft of it... Lol
Anywho, if Jack Sparrow were president... Idk, the president gets junk no matter who he is, whether good or bad to some people, other people will always think differently so there's really no way to get a perfect president. Anyways, Jack is ok, I learned a lot about pirates during researching... Some good, some bad so it was very interesting. I don't think it really changed my oppinion on them but it definately made me more aware of things.
A month after postage and I'm commenting. (sigh) I know, I'm not punctual. But anyway, I think Jack Sparrow is a glamorized, hollywoodized, drunk pirate, but he also happens to be really cool! That's the movies. If he became president? Hmmm... The moral efect on america would be devistating but his economics couldn't be any worse then Clinton.

I do NOT think Jack Sparrow would make a knowledgeable President of USA! If he were the President, you might think Clinton was great, the way he was going. What we need is another Ronald Reagan. Booyah Man! Besides, the Affirmative case wasn't prima facie anyway (prima facie is Latin for "on its face"). Come on, get a life with Reagan!
