Driving...and green hair...

I GOT MY LICENSE!!!!!!
man...it's about time! it took FOREVER to get it! I mean...once the government decides to set up rules, no matter how stupid, you can't do anything about it. My permit expired in July last year, and even though it had been only a couple days I still couldn't get my license then. I had to wait a whole nother 90 days with another permit just to get my license! *sigh* oh, well, should've known I guess...
Anyway, yesterday I got green hair! It's very cool, seriously green hair is goin to come into fashion here sometime. The reason behind it, is cuz our co-op has these dress up days, and yesterday was twin day, so Darrin and I temporarily dyed our hair green. It was a lot fun...sorry though..heh, no pictures. Maybe there is a reason for that...well, i might be able to put one up...maybe...

I'll leave u guys with this awesome quote

So now what you should do is go drive with the green hair and have everbody stare at you...

So, you're seventeen, and you have a driver's license already? I thought the license would still skyrocket the insurance costs at this stage. Still, you're lucky, I don't even have my permit yet.

don't y'all think that having to wait to have a permit to drive with an adult in the front seat is stupid?

Compare those last two comments: I don't think it's a stupid idea :-)

By the way, how long will/did the dye stay in?

bleah...driving. I am going to get to the states and...well, i dunno. Hopefully not drive though.

I really should get blue hair. I have wanted to do it for a while now, the really awesome thing about getting blue hair though is I would have to bleach it first...A week or so of white hair, and then blue... I am not sure I would be welcome in church like that though. Hm. A long haired, blue haired, forigner freak college student... maybe not a good idea.

Okay, Andrew, HOW CAN YOU THINK OF NOT GOING TO A MUSIC SCHOOL??!?!?! Seriously. Music can never be a part-time thing. Go to IU!!! Why was that not put in the equation?? Their music school is great, and their piano teachers are good. At least, I think so. However, if you don't go to a music school (which I think would be a shame, haha) go to geneva!! Great Christian college, lots of RP churches, lots of good departments. (don't know what you'd do for music, though. I go down to Carnegie Mellon U. for my violin lessons, they've got some good teachers.)
Wow, you dyed your hair green? That takes some.. guts. or something. haha, cya later!!

Andrew,
I would prefer that you call me Archduke rather than Anonymous. Also, here's another bummer. Like I mentioned to you before, I may not be able to make it to the entire CYPU Winter Conference this year, as my family is thinking about going to New York for Christmas. I will hopefully only miss the first day. And Kathryn is pretty sure the costume party dress code is County fair. I've got two good ideas so far. Hope to see you there (and about every Sunday between)!

To "his illustrious hairness",
Congratulations on being accepted at Purdue. I'm not quite sure white hair would look good on you at your age, though.

the whole "stay off the sidewalks" thing is a joke me and my friends have. Of course, we mean it sarcastically, most of us have been driving since age 7 so there's nothing scary about those of us. It's the kids who've never touched the peddle we're afraid of. (haha)

hm....i can't seem to picture you with green hair, is it that spray on stuff?

Graham said...

the idea is not to look good, the idea is to look weird, but I think I already do that...

I have a hard time picturing you with green hair, too. And I agree with Graham. The point's to look weird. It'd be kinda like me getting purple hair like my friend did and frankly she didn't look too bad.

WOAH! GREEN!? PICTURES!!!!!!! I NEED PICTURES!!!!!!!!!

Wait a minute. Driving since age 7? If that's not sarcasm, tell me what is.
