TFY

It's finally here!!! A 3 week youth conference trip/missions trip in Pittsburgh. It'll be great!! We'll get to see Pittsburgh fireworks (which are supposed to be really cool!) and I'll also be there during my birthday so, it'll be fun! I don't have much time to post but, there's plenty of time for comments...lol. Maybe if there's internet connection up there I can post more. I am leaving tomorrow morning at 6 so, I need to get back to packing...take care...

Yeah, what does "TFY" stand for? The thing in Pittsburg sounds awesome! It's a bummer my youth group and family never go that far, but hopefully we'll be able to go to King's Island and the Creation Museum in Ohio sometime. Also, wasn't there a youth confrence at Purdue er somethin'? And did you go? I would of if someone had informed me that we could still get rides to go but I missed it.

yeah yeah, ok, tfy stands for Theological Foundation for Youth...heh, it'll be really good...

christina, we are thinking of going to king's island, so we should like, go on the same day or something...

Enjoy your time! There are three girls from here that are going, and they were all talking about it today whenever they were together.

And good ridence to you, I say! You ignoramises, how could you NOT know about TFY!
Oh, forgive me. I sometimes forget that most humens do not have the knowledge that I have from my years of research. I ALWAYS know!

to the nutty phantom,
If you as you say, "ALWAYS know" how can it be that you do not KNOW how to spell? If you have spent years researching, how can it be that you do not know how to spell "humans"?
laughingly,

p.s. i am a friend of Graham's who likes refuting lousy arguments.

ah, yes, i've heard about u jeffrey, anyway, feel free to grind the phantom in the dust as u see fit...lol

Well, Mr. Jeffrey, to answer your question, even Einstein had trouble spelling. Sometimes it's just a weakness you have a hard time overcoming. Believe me, I know.

I hope you have fun Andrew! I guess there isn't an address that I could send you a card for your birthday, but I hope your birthday is fun and something to remember! You have to tell me all about everything when you come back, OKAY?!?!?! ;-)

Graham said...

Einstein was a mathematical genius, as opposed to a liberal one, and unless sir phantom is reputedly good at math, he has no excuse, and you have no foot to stand on.

You don't really need to give the same comment twice on the same post. And while we're on the subject, when was the last time spelling DIDN'T save someone's life?

To answer the phantom's question, durring the spelling bee of death and axes, and collegate term papers, that kinda thing. To answer the archduke's question, I am sure the spelling ghost has taken breaks from saving college students and whatnot, but you just don't notice his work.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANDREW!!! I know this is a day late, and I am sorry about that. I hope you had a GREAT birthday, and I hope you have a GREAT time at TFY!

Your Ignorance astounds me!

What ignorance? How much ignorance do you want?

Christina said...

Ignorance is bliss!!! Unfortunately I refuse to be ignorant.

Anonymous said...

My dear Madame Christina (to borrow the colloquialism),
Ignorance is not always bliss. Remember the verse in Proverbs that says something along the lines of:
"The prudent man sees the danger and hides himself;
The simple pass on and are punished."
So as you can see, "ignorance is bliss" is not the case. But the best way to treat this kind of insolence from commentators is to play it out with them, because you know they don't really mean it and are probably just doing it for fun.

P.S. Could "Sis" please post a comment telling me whether Graham is still there with Lafayette RPC? I would really appreciate it.

I suppose you are right. what does "colloquialism" mean?

Anonymous said...

"Colloquialism" means a frequently used expression. Some slang words might be considered colloquialisms. Hope this helps.

"Thanks" would be the correct usage. We don't want anyone else (ahem)to post a correction to your grammar and charge you with hypocrisy for correcting his.

I didn't know that I ever was part of or with the lafayette rpc thing. Dad sorta drags me around... I don't have a whole lot of say in the matter of where we go to church or any thing else for that matter... why is it important to you?

Anonymous said...

Dear Graham,
"It" is important to me because I haven't seen you for two years and would like to see you this year before you go back. Yes, I know who you are. You will notice I mentioned your sister's former nickname in one of my comments. So you can understand my concern.

Hiiii!!! I hope you're still having a wonderful time at TFY! Call us when you get back. I miss you and want to hear all about your summer. :-)

ok, two is too many. One know it all, king of the world, super spy, you have no clue who I am, but I know all about you was interesting to a degree, but two... has gone too far. One must also wonder, (since they apeared at roughly the same time, and then go schitzophrenic, off of eachother's personalities and then mistake themselves for the other and vice versa) whether or not The Phantom of the kitchen and the archduke of the keyboard are not one and the same. Assuredly, there is sutle interplay between the two, only noticible to a mastermind and a trained psycologist such as myself. For instance, when the phantom left two comments of the same gist, the latter was posted only one minute later, suggesting intent as opposed to accident, so that the archduke could comment. Also, The archduke used to be a friendly fellow, but has progressively become caustic, after the fasion of the phantom, who has slowly disapeared, as if to leave the spectators used to a cuastic archduke, as opposed to phantom, leaving his identity a misterey even too his closest friends (andrew in this case) Deny it if you will, I believe I have struck a chord though.

My dear Psychologist,
I want to make it clear that I have not been posting in cahoots with a sinister-blog program. Anyway, the other sinister comments probably won't be absent for long. If you still doubt me, there are others who will confirm these words. As to your "struck a chord" reference, it leaves the impression that you may be a musician such as I.

Also, it's perfectly fine in this particular setting to fight fire with fire if necessary or fun.

One other thing: if you look at the Comments site for "Dinner's On" you will see a comment where Andrew says, "I know everything about you and can reveal it at any given moment." So seemingly misterious people may not be misterious to everyone else. They might not be as discreet as you may have supposed.

The Archduke of the Keyboard

Jeffrey said...

he does have at least one good point though Archduke, you ARE considerably more caustic than you were when you first started commenting. But perhaps it is only that the phantom mannerisms are rubbing off on you. I have also the noticed the phantom is slightly more polite. Perhaps you are rubbing off on him too... but I more inclined to believe tyler's theory, if only because it is funnier.

Christina said...

When I think about it, I wouldn't be able to afford a three week missions trip type thing. Everyone at work would get so ticked at me and not to mention I'd have trouble remembering how to do my job in the first place. Anyway, e-mail me when you get back, Andrew!!!

Anonymous said...

Dear Jeffrey,
Tyler's theory is not correct at all. For one thing, you yourself should notice that I, unlike others, do not have trouble spelling. Not only that, I have a concrete sequential personality and Asperger's Syndrome, and wouldn't pretend I couldn't spell unless I was very severely slaphappy, which I usually am not. Also, if you read the comments for "Dinner's On," you would see that the comment reads, "Andrew, you failed to mention me. You will now work in a cursed kitchen. To all the rest of you: he did not do it himself. He had the help of I." You will recognize this to be vastly different from my comments, because I do not use such colloquial expressions and probably could not cook a meal like that to save my life. If you still doubt me, why don't you ask the other suspect?

The Archduke of the Keyboard

P.S.
You will also notice in the comments that Andrew threatened to reveal our Caustic Cook's identity, but not mine. He knows my identity very well; I see him about every week. Why don't you ask him? Also, I have further distinguished myself by acting nicely toward Graham; one of my comments will show you that I wanted to know whether his family was still at my church in Lafayette. I am still at the four-week performing arts camp I mentioned before. You should study all the comments; they might change your perspective.

I think that the Phantom of the Kitchen and the Archduke are the same person. but that's what I think.

Anonymous said...

ha ha, u can't see very well! congrats on ur aerospace award!!

Andrew said...

wow we seem to have a debate going on here...lol

Anonymous said...

what makes me suspicious is the fact that only the archduke of the keyboard has answered my querry, and he is the only one who opposes my theory.

Something else interesting is that the referal to the dinner's on post is Andrew addressing the Phantom, at a time when the Archduke was only occasionally visiting this site.

I am, however a musician. I play guitar, and have fooled with other instruments as well though.
